Do any of you know this composer (1931--1996)?

In addition to a busy career as a concert composer he also scored many films from the late fifties into the nineties. Read a review of a 3 cd collection of his film music and am taking a chance on it, so ordered. Will let you know what I think when I get it.

Dosvedanya!

Finally listened to this wonderful 3 cd set. First off, there are no orchestral fireworks. The prevailing mood is low-key with several jazzy pieces, some breathy vocals, and a few striking harpsichord solos. I kept thinking of the French New Wave while listening. Lai, Gainsbourg, and Legrand come to mind.

Have heard of Mikael not his music, I've been meaning for a while, but with releases you get side-tracked, its sounds an interesting set like there's abit of erotic over tv drama sounds a little like Jansen, or Komeda's jazz his palette is there but varies-outwards away from vocals, I will put this on Christmas list thanks.
