7' 2" Richard Kiel first appeared as Bond Villain Jaws in THE SPY WHO LOVED ME.

Kiel returned as Jaws in MOONRAKER and helped save James Bond (Roger Moore) and Dr. Holly Goodhead (Lois Chiles) aboard Bond Villain Hugo Drax's space station.

In PALE RIDER, Kiel played henchman Club, who redeemed himself and helped save Preacher (Clint Eastwood) from being shot by his boss's son, Josh LaBoone (Chris Penn).

And of course Richard Kiel's redemptive role in Happy Gilmore, as well

Shouldn't that be "Ain't gonna stop nobody no how from making no movies no way"? He's losing his touch with the common man's vernacular.

That was a great one. Him telling Shooter to lie still as he beats him up offscreen is absurdly hilarious.

I can translate what Samuel Jackson is saying a bit more directly;

"I really don't care if our movies are not that great. The most important thing is all the money Marvel has paid me"

You don't make mention of it but, honestly, the only sci-fi genre outing in the offing worthy of consideration is season 4 of The Expanse. Unfortunately it's sold with the now standard eardrum drum bashing trailer music:

Patrick Stewart's formerly booming voice is so weak and raspy now. I hope he's ok.

So Picard is going to rescue Luke Skywalker. Weird looking Data double/cgi.

He doesn't make a fraction of what Downey gets.
Proving once again, that black actors are victims of wage discrimination in Hollywood.

RE: Picard- A bunch of angry, sad old characters. Don't see the fun in it.

RE: LIS- Was terribly WOKE. Had two good episodes and one great episode. Can't sit thru that disaster again. To bad because I really like the production values of the series.

Jackson is a supporting actor in these, Downey is not
Jackson is quite well paid I am sure.
Not everything is explained by racism

Pretty sure they get paid based on box office draw.

Why not?

Lost In Space: I thought it was well written, directed and scored. My only real issues were with the fact that the Robinson’s weren’t lost on their own and with some of the casting (Toby Stephens wouldn’t have been my first choice as John Robinson). Otherwise, I had a great time with it.

Picard: regarding how "fun" it looks, how much fun was TNG? It was a chat fest after the 3rd season, filled with tech solutions to A/B plots. The best thing about the series was the characters/actors, and I’m excited to see where they are years after Nemesis. I am jazzed to finally see a series going forward instead of another “New Canon” prequel.

A series about cranky old men should actually resonate around here. big grin

Is the sunglass-wearing smiley emoji suppose to mean sarcasm? Sol thinks it means "science."

TONGUE IN CHEEK.

Saying something sarcastic but trying to keep a straight face. Hence the hint.of a smile. Glasses help hide it.
