As some of you know I am also collecting key chains. This upcoming Saturday I will be having some of my key chains on display at an exhibition. The reason why it only be some of instead of everyone is because of the fact that I do own 4397 and as far as I know my collection is the fourth largest here in Sweden. And the fact that I have to transport the key chains to the exhibition. This will be my sixth time I have them on display.

Very good, Tobias. I hope you have a fun day of it.

How do you accumulate such a massive collection? Do you mostly look for them or do people donate to you?

First of all I have collected since January of 1988. Well then there is also the fact that each and everyone who knows me knows that I collect key chains so yes people donate all the time. I personally only buy when I travel.

That's great. I'm sure you'll have ton more in the future. You have any favourites amongst them? It must be difficult with having so many. What set you off collecting them?

Back in the early eighties my grandparents went to Sri Lanka on a vacation trip and there they bought a key chain and it was that one that started the whole thing. That one is of course one of my favorites but other than that one I can mention a key chain that look like Freddy Krueger`s famous hand and that one was a gift from Mr. Englund himself.

Now I am back home after the exhibition where I had some of my key chains at display. It was a success, many visitors came to see my collection and I even got some new key chains from some of the visitors.

Well done on the exhibit. Are there any photos of your collection we could see?

Was everyone who attended the exhibition also on Facebook and a friend of yours?

Well, I do work in a grocery store in a small village called Sexdrega (and no it does not have anything to do with sex, you see the Swedish word for six is sex). Many of my customers is actually friends of mine on Facebook so to answer you, yes actually.

Thanks for sharing a bit about yourself, as it makes topics more interesting.

Did any FSMers attend the exhibition? I'm sure we have a number of Swedes here; perhaps they could comment here on the keychain collection and the experience of meeting you.

No FSMers. Every FSMer that I know (maybe except 1 or perhaps 2) have I met while attending Peter "DMD" Hackman`s Fans of Film Music event so no FSMers at the exhibition. By the way I have met Thor the Norwegian only once and that was in Los Angeles.

I was once in Ulricehamn years ago, which was very nice and about 45 minsaway from where you live.

Actually I only work in Sexdrega but I live in another small village about 30 minutes away called Skene. But on the other hand when I started to work in Sexdrega 10 years ago people said to me that it will not be long until you move to Sexdrega but now after working in the same grocery store for 10 years I have still not moved there.

So if no FSMers attended the exhibition and you have no intention of posting any keychain collection photos here, then why did you even bother to post about the exhibit in this thread? Is it an ego thing? It has to be an ego thing.

That's what I'm guessing...that it's an ego thing.

I'm guessing it's an indirect plea for donations to the collection to overtake the few above him in the hierarchy of global keyring collectors.

Toby, I have the odd one lying around that you're unlikely to have. Post an address (or contact me privately via addy in profile) and I'd be delighted to send them over, knowing they'll be in a good home.

Congrats on the exhibit, Tobias. Have you ever met any of the three people in Sweden who have larger keychain collections than yourself?

Wouldn't that blow his alibi for when they mysteriously "disappear"?

No, it`s a much more simple answer. Since I have never posted a photo on this board before and therefore am a little bit sceptic of doing because I am not that good with computer tech stuff.
