WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16
THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE---trailer released for Season 4 which is the last season.

CASSIAN ANDOR---writer/director Tony Gilroy (ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY) will write the pilot and direct multiple episodes for the Disney+ tv series that will be a prequel to ROGUE ONE. Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk are returning.
THE MATRIX 4---Jada Pinkett Smith is in talks to return as Niobe, and Neil Patrick Harris is in talks to play an undisclosed role in the sequel.
MANK---Amanda Seyfried will co-star with Gary Oldman in the Netflix black-and-white biomovie about writer Herman Mankiewicz (CITIZEN KANE). David Fincher will direct the biomovie based on the script by his father, Jack Fincher.
UNDERWATER---poster released for the underwater monster movie starring Kristen Stewart and Vincent Cassel.
GREASE: RYDELL HIGH---poster released for the HBO Max tv spinoff tv series based on the 1978 movie that starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.
MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE---Kevin Feige was named Chief Creative Officer, in addition to being President, of Marvel Studios. This gives Feige control over Marvel movies, tv and publishing.
Also, Damon Lindelof replied to Martin Scorsese's criticism of Marvel movies, "I’m just curious as to how many Marvel movies he has seen. I don’t view it as a put down. I think there has to be space for popular entertainment and indie fare and cinema."
NIGHTMARE ALLEY---Willem Dafoe will co-star with Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara in the Guillermo del Toro remake movie that was based on the novel. The original 1947 movie starred Tyrone Power.
THE STAND---Heather Graham will play wealthy New Yorker Rita Blakemoor in the CBS All Access ten-part miniseries based on the Stephen King novel.
TWIST---Michael Caine, Lena Headey, Rita Ora and Raff Law (son of Jude Law) star in this modern day movie version of OLIVER TWIST in which Oliver is coerced into stealing a priceless painting for Fagin.
THE LORD OF THE RINGS---Maxim Baldry (MR. BEAN'S HOLIDAY) will co-star in the Amazon prequel tv series.
IMAGINARY FRIENDS---Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski star in this movie about a man who can talk to people's imaginary friends and must save them when their imaginary friends turn to the dark side.
MISANTHROPE---Mark Strong is in talks to co-star with Shailene Woodley in this movie about a troubled female cop who is recruited by the FBI to track down a serial killer.
THE MOST FUN WE'VE EVER HAD---HBO series underway based on the novel. Amy Adams and Laura Dern are co-producers.
DASH & LILY---Austin Abrams and Midori Francis star in this Netflix movie based on the book DASH & LILY'S BOOK OF DARES.
TRIVIA---in ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST, the scene in which Jack Elam's character, Snakey, is irritated by a fly on his face originally used a fake fly. This was not convincing, so jam was on put on Elam's face and flies, released one at a time from a nearby jar, landed on his face.

The bit where Elam is repeatedly blowing the fly on his lower lip and it wont budge is golddust filmmaking. The fly was nominated for an academy award!
