Awesome! Frontiere fans rejoice! So what is the Beachhead pilot theme by Frontiere, at the end? I searched IMDb for something by that title and didn't find anything from the 60s... Yavar

"Beachhead" was the pilot of "The Invaders," which was mostly tracked with music from "The Outer Limits." The cue we're going to get seems to be the pilot version of the intro music, which was the only original music composed for that episode. That makes sense, although I'm personally surprised then that it isn't the first track of the all-Frontiere Disc 1 (as the first original music written for the series) rather than tacked on as the final track of the otherwise non-Frontiere Disc 2. It's not as if there wasn't room for that sub-minute track on Disc 1. Ah well. I'm sure there was a reason even if I can't suss it out at the moment. Yavar

The cue we're going to get seems to be the pilot version of the intro music, which was the only original music composed for that episode. I love this TV series - especially the first season - and the music is excellent. Another contender for release of the year. Was the rest of the pilot score tracked from Stoney Burke music? Other than the theme, was there nothing composed for the pilot?

I'm guessing that these answers and more will be revealed in Jon Burlingame's liner notes. We may just have to be patient. Yavar

I listened to just two samples from "The Invaders" (the two tracks after the theme) and I was hooked. Man, if they do "Twelve O'clock High", it's going to be an awful job leaving out so much great material. The most bittersweet distillation to date, perhaps.
