IMDb has him as the composer for the upcoming CGI Pixar-like film. I hope it's true. I did a quick search but came up empty. I know IMDb is user-edited, but it's such an odd edit it just might be so. Here is the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnKvQbpDYXU I haven't seen the trailer yet, so I can't complain yet (assuming it's bad, that is; maybe it'll be good...). EDIT: (December 17): Julian Nott is not the composer. :-( It was a false rumor.

Okay, watched the trailer and now I can complain. I have to say, I almost had nothing to complain about (other than the awful music) until like the last half of the trailer. When tiny super robots and alien abduction came into the picture, I had many complaints ready, but the lame dad joke at the end ... so bad. Still, doesn't look too bad.

So, information online is saying Alan Silvestri is the composer.

I loved the Daphne joke at the end. This looks like the kind of movie my boy will pick for his birthday. As long as I don't have to see an Angry Birds movie.

Apparently Christophe Beck is now scoring this.

Apparently Christophe Beck is now scoring this. Could be worse.

Silvestri, Beck -- both good choices and both would give the film what it needs.
