The iTunes version is longer? They both appear to have 36 tracks...

at least according to amazon description:

shittunes: Total Length: 1:27:45
CD: Run Time: 74 minutes

unless all tracks are there but some of them had been shortened only.

Ok, so I guess both the CD and the iTunes versions are identical. I’ve compared the track titles (from the SAE page) and lengths and they both match up.

So you all really like this? Guess I’m missing something. Need to give it another go.

Playing now - effective as hell in the film if JUST due the Bartok, Penderecki, Carlos references.
See the film first, essential here.

Film is kinda weird but not too bad. It's definately more "Stephen King" than "Stanley Kubrik" but I think that is OK. But I expected it to be more scary than it is. I dig the score more with each listening and I don't mind the overabundance of the heartbeat sound.

Just re-watched the movie yesterday. Liked it a lot more than the first time around. Will watch the 30 minutes longer Director's Cut next. Still love the score, fits the movie like a glove.
