One of Jerry's finest scores to date for the 1982 classic Poltergeist. Encompassed within the design is Carol Ann's theme scoresheet, serving as a backdrop for the various shots from the movie.
Brings back the good old days of cinema in the 80's and memories of The Goldsmith Society gatherings, especially in 1987 at the Barbican concert hall, where Jerry conducted his suites and themes.
Thanks for ordering. Miss this great composer's incredible talent. He still had lots to give us as fans in terms of his creativeness. So grateful we have Jerry's back catalogue to go back to.
I was the original designer for the Goldsmith Society magazine all those years ago. I was hired to design the first and second edition of the new look Legend magazine, which I still have copies of.
During his concert weekend at the Barbican I was part of a two camera setup for his questions and answers session with the society of which I still have the footage. Even now I go back and watch it every so often....... very nostalgic.
Anyway thanks for purchasing and hope you show interest in more designs coming soon.

Any chance of that footage finding itself a publicly-viewable home?

Yes. It needs a bit of cleaning up but it’s certainly worth doing for fans of Goldsmith new and old..... watch this space......
