And in 1966 IT! was scored by Carlo Martelli. The Roddy Mcdowall version. How weird of them to misspell Roddy's last name in the Main Title credits.

Who knows what Danny Elfman would have done for Star Wars? But I'll always consider it one of the great missed opportunities of all time that Elfman didn't score one of the Harry Potter sequels.

If 20 years earlier DE would of had a right for Mars Attacks, obviously not 50s 60s sci-fi but it does have good references too those era's, I loved how DE evoked those Martians that being the finest segment hearing that polka texture choir-paced left clinical effects, loved the main title, Martlan Madame & Ungodly Experiments, I'm not a DE fan but been impressed lately with Pee-Wee & Dumbo solid efforts.
