That promo (Rykodisc ?RCD 10513/14 ADV) contains an insert in black and white with an announcement of the "Limited Edition Superlative Box" (see picture #8).
I can't say for sure, but I don't think so. I'm a huge FZ fan, plus I was in the record biz at the time and had a lot of contact with Rykodisc involving their Zappa releases. I did get a 200 Motels keychain, though!
It's most likely to me that this box set project was cancelled.
At the official Zappa forum such a release has apparently never been discussed either. They talk regularly about 200 Motels but never mention the 'superlative' box.

Now that the Zappa Family Trust is tied with Universal we are seeing some very tasty FZ boxes (Roxy, Halloween, the upcoming Hot Rats). A 200 Motels box isn't impossible.

On the information sheet that comes with the promo 200 Motels CD there's a weird record number. It says "... and limited edition superlative box RCD 90513/14". I e-mailed Rykodisc and they told me that the box was never made, and never will be.
