Does the 17' score available for many years not count?

And I see that you have repeated the error in the film's title - as per the original Castle 1999/2000 release (CIN CD019) ...
... the word is Internecine.

At least the Jambo artwork has the correct word.

Quite - my thoughts exactly.

Of course, perhaps they have found more music to release. As they say it's been "produced and mixed in 2019...", I wonder if there's been a bit of mucking about with the music, similar to what Paul Fishman did with the Cinephile releases (some of the results good...others not so!)

I note this label is a descendant of one of the late Jack Fishman's companies.

[EDIT: It's on Amazon Music with a quoted total time of about 41 minutes...]

I just downloaded this from Amazon. It appears to be the complete score, in stereo, with the original film versions, not remixed by Paul Fishman. Unfortunately only mp3s at 254 kbps, but hopefully a CD will be released at some point.

Thanks Stephen, I'll go to Amazon and download it later; as you say a CD is far preferable.

Theres also a 2 disc version of THE STONE KILLER there but I'm unsure again how much is genuinely new over the previous Italian and Cinephile releases; it's much more expensive than THE INTERNECINE PROJECT download eek

You can find the new Roy Budd releases in other download stores (like Qobuz) in lossless FLAC, by the way.

Thanks for the tip. I don't use Qobuz (then again I don't download music much) but I do use 7digital now and again and they're not on that site. GET CARTER is on there - but from a quick glance, there's nothing new in this version and it's not one of my favourite Budd scores anyway.

Wish we could get a complete Wild Geese and Fear is the Key without the sfx on the car chase. I wonder if these tapes exist?

Re-appreciating Roy Budd currently (and discovering scores Of his I did not know).

He must be one of the must undervalued composers in film score history.

Not by those of us in the know smile
I bought my first Roy Budd LP in 1973 ...

But even the most faithful of fans has to recognise that his career was short-lived ... say 12 years. And the latter half of that period included only 3 "big" films ... all of which were Euan Lloyd productions. I wonder whether he didn't market himself sufficiently well or whether his reputation within the industry was not as great as we fans feel it should have been.

I think you are correct in saying his reputation within the movie industry was not that great as I asked why he did not score more films and he replied that ....he was not asked and was not in the business of turning down work.

Apologies if this has been answered already but qobuz has been listing a two disc version of THE STONE KILLER for a while now. Is this the same contents as the two disc LP that has come out?
