His music throughout the first season is so good.I've yet to watch season 2 but i imagine it's also great. He's becoming a new favourite composer of mine, too. It's great to see his thought process for the theme.
I recently got a 2-month trial subscription to HBO, and have binged all of SUCCESSION in a few days. Great show! I was also very impressed by the score. I've not been a big fan of Britell so far, but this one hit a nerve (or chord). Love those faux-classical compositions, and the way he merges the traditional with the contemporary. It's a great angle -- although set in contemporary times, it's very much an old aristocratic tale that befits the retro music styles, like an old English manor.
I got the "Season 2" soundtrack about a week ago, and have enjoyed it quite a bit. One of my favs of 2020 so far. I don't have the "Season 1" one, but I assume it's more of the same.

It´s really brilliant work by Britell - and I can only agree: SUCCESSION is one of the most entertaining, best written, acted and filmed shows of the decade. Both seasons.
