In real life, the actor who voiced the Heat Miser, George S. Irving, later in life looked surprisingly a lot of like the Heat Miser. He would later reprise the character in a 2006 animated special that by the reviews, sucked. Maury Laws did not score it.

Well, turns out I didn't miss any of the episodes.
And so concludes, for this time, my journey into his scoring career. Sadly, Laws passed away earlier last year on March 28, 2019, but he had a good long life and lived to be 95 years old.
Doubling back to Bernard Hoffer. On top of doing some work on the Laws scores, he also scored some Rankin/Bass Productions including being the composer on "Thundercats".
Another Rankin/Bass Productions composer was Johnny Marks.
