Maybe it's just me, but lately, it feels like this board has completely gone to shit.
There are some posters who don't start threads or celebrate threads at all, but feel compelled to constantly contribute (?) within threads, but add nothing but negativity, sarcasm or sour grapes.
They generally don't have an opinion on the topic being discussed, but side track it with sarky or pithy comments just to try and rile someone else in the thread.
They also bang on about the same thing over and over, like we haven't heard it from them before, or haven't become bored shitless by their constant droning rhetoric.
It's really beginning to get old now and I've noticed some other posters beginning to get tired of the whole shebang.
Such a pity.
These people obviously ain't happy in their personal lives or are carrying some inner demons that forbids them from dropping their childish shtick.

Really? Other than letting off steam how does this thread help?

Hi Kev! I see what you're saying, but for the most part I really enjoy it here.

I get what Kev is saying too, to some extent. Perhaps even I'm a little guilty of lashing out on the thread, but I try to avoid that now.

I'll be curious to see how quickly this thread becomes the very thing he talks about.

I’m very happy in my personal life, thank you, Kev.

I'm actually more ' offended' by Watts overlong posts.
It's presumptuous for.him to expect time.strapped.FSMers.to stop.everything they are doing, and.spend up to a half hour digesting his latest epic!

Not in the slightest! SJW toxicity is hilarious.

At least his are worth reading.

His ability to properly use periods is also a bonus.

Given your own post counts -- including 194(?) posts to one thread "Stupid Questions Thread - no answers required" -- it's also fair to assume you have more than enough time on your hands.

Thank you, Kev. You are spot on. I tried to post a similar idea in the topic below, but of course
it didn't help. Thanks for your effort to "detox" things. I wish it wasn't in vain.

My ignore list is certainly more robust than ever these days. Half of this thread doesn’t even show up for me, and I’m ok with that.

Hi Kev. Totally agree. I used to love visiting and reading the conversations here. Now it seems as if the moderators have given up while the same few individuals derail every thread with glee. It's a shame that the same few noxious individuals have been given a pass to trash this board with their incessantly toxic comments.

I've resisted doing that but maybe I should reconsider. My only question is, when you put someone on the ignore list, does it sometimes make threads hard to follow? Or do conversations/threads still pretty much make sense?
