I can't really fault it for the craftsmanship and orchestration, but it's bland and goes in one ear and out the other. I recall brief orchestration ideas, but nothing else -- and I literally just finished listening to it.
You so often state that a score doesn’t work for you if it “goes in one ear and out the other” during your first listen. I realize that given the volume of new scores it is hard to do this, but I feel that I am a pretty good judge of which scores will benefit from a second spin, and this is one that is in that category, at least for me.
