And back to 1917: I see that according to my last.fm profile, I have listened to "Sixteen Hundred Men" 88 times and "The Night Window" 55 times! That's a lot of time spent! lol! I find this interesting, as I rarely do repeat listenings (anymore... like about everybody, I did of course in earlier days). I tend to listen to albums (or, when it comes to classical music, "compositions"), not cues (unless I use various shuffle modes, but then it is incidental). It is rare that I play the same album several times in a row/week/month. Maybe if it is new to me or I am really, really in the mood for that particular album, then I listen to it three or four times within a month or so. I don't know, I have not collected statistics anywhere about my listening habits, and I have no "rules" for what I listen to when... it's just repeat listening sessions rarely occur. Yesterday evening, I listened to INTERSTELLAR by Hans Zimmer. I think it's a terrific score, very well done, but I think it was the second or third time I listened to the complete score since it came out, and perhaps I had two or three additional listenings of the cue "Mountains". So it comes down I listened to the album about once very two years. Would be interesting for me to start collecting statistics about what and how often I listen to various albums and pieces. Maybe I get to it one day.

Mendes said The Night Window is the best track compose by Newman in all his movies. Also, 1917 is a very good score, by all means.

Just got round to buying this cheap. I'm glad I didn't pay full price as I think it's shit, on the whole. Maybe 2/3 listenable tracks. Any price for a score you view as "shit on the whole" is expensive.

Then I move on to other albums. But after a few months I return to it and get obsessed all over again! lol! I guess it might be more the themes I get obsessed about. The last years I have been listening to some Burwell albums A LOT! And its so interesting to check my listening statistics from time to time. Like when I check my stats for the last 12 months I have i.e listen to a cue from the LLL Buffy Collection 981 times. Not the same cue, but 981 times have I played different tracks from it. (and almost 5000 times since it was released) Also, Carter Burwell's Goodbye Christopher Robin, I have played tracks from it 390 times in the last 12 months. (744 times since I started listening to it) I have also listened to a track from the Arrow: Season 1 soundtrack 4341 times! Yes, I have no life, lol
