I wonder if the film tanking will seal any possible CD release fate?

Can I chime in and say it looks horrible, or will I be accused of being a hater and negative contributor on FSM?

If you think this movie looks horrible, that just makes you someone with two eyes and a functioning brain.

$180 million for this? Geesh.

Still, I'm sure the music will be fantastic.

I'm sure 80 million of the budget went straight to Robert Downey Jr.

Quartet did several BackLot digital releases on CD last year so you never know.

Like the score

The film is absoloutely awful . No charm like the original 60s version , and i have to say the eddie murphy remake is much better than this disaster.

The CGI is dreadful ( like most CGI heavy laden films )

Yes, Intrada has all my hope for a proper physical release.

Either can have my money for a Dolittle score CD.

I'm sad to say that I had the misfortune of seeing this turkey.(don't ask me it, it's a long story) It is a true train wreck in every way imaginable. But the worst part of the film was...Robert Downey, Jr. His peculiar English dialect spoken with in a false breathy gargle and goofy facials...gah. If I were a 5 year old, maybe this would be worth watching. But as it stands, avoid it like the coronavirus. There is not one single positive to mention here. And yes, there is a dragon in here and yes, there is a dragon fart joke to boot. Yes, you read that right.

Downey is paid $20 million, or close to that figure, but yes, this film is a turkey dud.
