Just ordered myself 17 CDs, and Return to Oz before it goes OOP!

This sale includes all the MSM and Screamworks CDs that were previously reduced to $9.99. Incredible deal here.

Runner-up: Stuart Hancock's UNDERGROUND if you like Bill Conti's sound of the first half of the 1980s.

I managed to hold my order down to 17 titles, which has already shipped. Many of the sample tracks are interesting which makes me think the overall programs of some of the titles might be quite good. I am going totally on speculation here because I’ve never seen any of these movies and TV shows and only even heard of just a few of them.

Even with the high mail cost, and I chose the bulk mail option, it still comes out to just a little over $2 a title. Thanks Craig.

Of those, I particularly recommend COLISEUM, BACK TO GAYA (more for its historical value than its music, perhaps, although it's fine enough), LEGENDS OF CHIMA, VOL. 2 and BHOPAL: A PRAYER FOR RAIN. But obviously, there are a great many I've never heard, and there always tends to be lesser-known gems in the Moviescore Media catalogue.

I recommend The Lightkeepers - a lovely score by Pinar Toprak.

Recommend "In My Sleep" having that skin of Psycho.. Conrad Pope is an understudy too John William's that's what i reckon or that 2nd brain & hands on particular projects. "In My Sleep" orchestration isn't big but its effectively used the ethos that unfolds is menacing those paces are stellar, not sure who's skills was on piano but those melodies were played beautifully. Love "Knife Edge" too Guy Farley knows how too use orchestration too its full potential.

With these prices how much do they hit you with shipping fees? LION OF JUDAH is fantastic.

These sales have been on-going for most part of 2 years there's a few titles that went bye-bye "Hot Potato" "Beyond Re-animator" no-more but most of this catalogue is amazingly still available.

Just a note, I have been wanting Pirates Passage for a while, it is looking unavailable almost anywhere else, Island of Secrets, you can get it new on Amazon for $20

Thanks for the heads up but if you live in the UK the shipping fees and taxes are too prohibitive. I bought half a dozen CDs from them last year.... Paid £15 for the CDs plus £15 for the postage and then paid £18 in taxes. Their after sales service was atrocious..... So rude and belligerent.

Never again will I buy from them!!!

Shouldn't your anger be aimed at the exorbitant shipping costs these days instead?

Yep, the actual beginning of these sales is 5+ years ago they were selected at 1.95 too 9.95, then a year later barring a few exceptions the whole catalogue went 1.95, Today 0.95.

I do PDFs when I buy, I mixed a few titles with boutiques I did buy 2 batches of 10 for 10 not long before SAE changed there international policy. I didn't see those 2 you mentioned obviously winners good-scores.

I took great advantage of this sale back in May last year. I still have a few titles I haven't ripped yet.
Some ended up being a disappointment, others OK, but bland and generic. Quite a few I've really enjoyed.
for the latter, these were the high points for me

• UN TICKET POUR L'ESPACE (A TICKET TO SPACE) adventure (as opposed to a simply propulsive, driving action) score that sits comfortably in a playlist with Broughton and Newton Howard.
http://www1.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/13619/UN-TICKET-POUR-LESPACE-A-TICKET-TO-SPACE/

• The Escapist- Wallfisch seems to usually be a safe bet. http://www1.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/12242/THE-ESCAPIST/

• Jellysmoke (Peter Calandra) - far and away my favorite of all I've heard so far. Moody, contemplative jazz score. I got it around the same time as David Shire's The Conversation and this turned out to be a great listen, and a natural to throw into the same playlist.
http://www1.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/9046/JELLYSMOKE-UNKNOWN-SOLDIER-500-EDITION/

• Just Buried (Daniel Fung)- people here were recommending this the last sale and they were right.
http://www1.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/11336/JUST-BURIED/

• The Poker Club (Evan Evans)- http://www1.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/12458/THE-POKER-CLUB/

• Numb/ Kettle Of Fish/ Coney Island Baby -http://www1.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/9983/NUMB-KETTLE-OF-FISH-CONEY-ISLAND-BABY-500-EDITION/ Great listen all the way through in the vein of Jellysmoke

• Flicka 2 (Mark Thomas)-http://www1.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/13998/FLICKA-2/

• Cool Dog (Stephen Edwards)- http://www1.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/14773/COOL-DOG/

• Happy Now (Dario Marianelli) - http://www1.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/14610/HAPPY-NOW/

I was going to place an order just now for another batch, but was sad to find out they got rid of the Media Mail option.
I had twenty titles in my cart, but the thought of paying $40 in shipping (in the same zone) - for things I could just as easily keep living without- throws a bucket of cold water on the deal for me.
I was committed to cutting down on unnecessary purchases this year, focusing on enjoying what i already own and only breaking that for good sales on what I really want. Shipping makes this a "meh" sale on things I'll forget about in a week.
