Heh.
The Partridge Family did it too, when Harry Morgan pretended to have whiplash!
Danny and Reuben followed Harry around trying to get him to stoop and pick up money.
That scene was hilarious.

I can't REMEMBER either, Jehannum. I suppose it could have been either one of us then.

Heh, that would be Ernest Saunders, the story of whose remarkable recovery can be found by googling “Guinness trial”. That’s the drinks group, not the eminent ac-tor.

Saw this the other day on news, the 1st thing I thought was that old mafioso trick with the respirator piped on wheelchair yep, Weinstein's lawyers gonna cry brutality while he's been detained causing adverse-health, you can bet his team gonna dig-out some dirt on his victims the lives that stars lead constant party-animals etc.. those particulars will get twisted.

No walker yesterday.
It's a miracle.

The walker is in protective custody, as it filed a reported yesterday that Harvey inappropriately touched it.

According to the usual "news sources" (meaning, take their reliability as thou wilt) Weinstein's defense team is going to enter into evidence e-mail communications between him and his accusers.
I've been thinking that it just might be the one thing that sways this whole proceeding.
If it is demonstrated that some of the accusers are not quite as innocent as we had hoped they are (and that is a BIG if), then that would blow the whole thing sky-high.
It would really put to the test the concept of due process and the spirit of an unbiased trial, separate from the court of public opinion.

But even if he was, by some measure, found to be less guilty than it seems, I would still find him odious and repulsive.

Reproduced from the FSM Poets thread with the permission of the author smile

The Producer’s Song

When I made you go that extra mile
You said my skin was like a crocodile
Just remember if it goes to trial
You belong to me

If I said you were a little tease
And in bed I just ignored your pleas
You’ll recall I gave you 50 Gs
You belong to me

(I’ll be so alone without you
Maybe you’ll be lonesome too
I’m screwed)

In that motel when I went astray
You were on your knees but not to pray
Baby, then you signed an NDA
You belong to me

If you help to keep me out the pen
Keep your mouth shut about way back when
I’ll be back producing films and then
You’ll belong to me

What a shocker. There's two sides to a story.

I wonder how the world would react to that--the discovery that some of the plaintiffs exploited Weinstein for their own advancement.
The social media universe would explode at the irony.
Would the public be able to objectively separate their disgust for the man from their lawful obligation to judge him fairly on the facts?

To be sure, his are not the actions of an innocent man.
But all the defense has to establish is reasonable doubt to throw a wooden clog into the machinery.

Make no mistake while Weinstein's not guilty he's still a powerful pest, I've said before this hierarchy that use too finance his movies, his finances protect him aren't going too hang-him, these guys are billionaires who will investigate every-victims weaknesses this will be dirty lining, (i knew that from day one) like i said at some point there cry-out brutality.
