Is iTunes basic lossy mp3 (~250kbps)?

I don't consider CD quality hi-res, but in this case I'd be willing to kick in the $6 more for tracks that are a little more muscular.

No mp3 on iTunes for the most part. They use AAC (not ALAC).

Does anyone know how those other 2 tracks should be inserted into the main program?

Best guess

On the Run
Strange Awakens
Are You Happy
Gargantos
Discovering America
Wanda at Home
The Apple Orchard
Battle Time
Not A Monster
Strange Statue
A Cup of Tea
Home?
Illuminati
Journey with Wong
Forbidden Ground
Tribunal
They're Not Coming Back
Stranger Things Will Happen
Illuminati vs Wanda
Grab My Hand
The Decision Is Made
Buying Time
Book of Vishanti
Looking for Strange
Strange Talk
Lethal Symphonies
Getting Through
Only Way
Trust Your Power
They'll Be Loved
Farewell
An Interesting Question

Credits Part 1 - Main Titles
Mid-Credits - An Unexpected Visitor
Credits Part 2 - Multiverse of Madness (though I'm totally down with starting the album with it)

Apologies on “Not in iTunes.” I have been searching for at least a week or more by doing a manual search in iTunes. So gave up. Never would’ve occurred to me it would not be listed this Friday am in new albums genre soundtracks nor would it be promoted in new albums genre soundtrack. Yet released Friday All very weird. Willing to bet Disney will promote it next weekend when I’m guessing it will come out. Kind of a quiet release on for major film an score iTunes.

This looks pretty good, that's where I have them. I am actually just back from another screening and I STILL cannot hear "Stranger Things Will Happen" in the film - at all!

Agree about Multiverse of Madness as the first track. Elfman likes his opening numbers, and this totally fits an opening scroller a la Spider-Man or Batman. It has the Strange and Wanda motifs. I really can't get enough of this one.

It is mostly correct...with some exceptions. Discovering America goes in between Not a Monster and Strange Statue. It takes place during the rooftop scene right after certain trippy montage. It's funny the decided to include this little cue but not the pivotal one taking place not long after.

And Forbidden Ground goes after Home? Journey with Wong is mistitled. The said "journey" takes place in Forbidden Ground whereas this one covers the next scene when they're already there.

Stranger Things track indeed does not appear in the film. Is it an alternate for main on ends? Or perhaps something meant for a deleted scene?

What a wonderful score. Made me appreciate Elfman again after quite some time during which I fell out of love with his work.

Bad mistake. He was and still is great.

"Stranger Things track indeed does not appear in the film. Is it an alternate for main on ends? Or perhaps something meant for a deleted scene?" Thank you! I have seen some people completely write the entire score off because part of it is basically lifted from Justice League/The Hulk. I quite like the song myself. There were quite a few reshoots so it could very well be for a deleted scene. I also think that Multiverse of Madness originally was at the start of the film before the extensive reshoots that completely changed the beginning of the film.

And there are several key pieces of music I'd have included over others here, like the one you mentioned and the music with America's memory flashback. Hopefully the sessions will get leaked at some point like Ultron and Justice League.

I feel the same, and have been listening to him non stop since this movie came out to make up for lost time. He really is a treasure, even his "lesser" work stands above most others IMO.

I mean, yes, Wanda's theme does indeed appear in his other work. But I sort of just go with it, especially because it appears to also be built upon the B-section of the theme Elfman wrote for her in Age of Ultron. So it's a nice connection there. As for other "references", to me a lot of it is just the type of "handwriting style" every composer develops. Every musician I know does reuse stuff, intentionally or not, so it's not really that much of a big deal. Plus god knows what was temped in there.

I really like the score. It's not the showiest or tidiest of his works. I get why people find it messy, especially at first. But there's some thought behind it and the kind of thematic work that you don't hear being developed a lot these days. For example, he put a lot of effort into showing duality of both Strange and Wanda, and the "dark side" they seem to share in both the story and Elfman's score. And even Giacchino's theme is used only in certain context (to represent his public superhero persona). I don't think many composers would bother with those kinds of intricacies.

I agree wholeheartedly, but I'd also add that he succeeds in the above while also creating a brilliant score for a film with a horror element. The songs They'll Be Loved, A Cup Of Tea, Getting Through among some others are some of my favourite songs of his, let alone in how many years.

"Wandavision could be essential. What if? is not needed to watch"
------------------------
Well, that sucks!!
Whatever happened to the standalone film?
I didn't mind the whole Marvel AVENGERS 20+ film/story arc, cos that was kinda inferred going in AND they were all feature films AT THE CINEMA.
Having to subscribe/watch TV streaming services in order to follow/better understand a feature film at the cinema is a bridge too far for me.
This might be my 'I'm Outta Here' of the whole franchise, if you can't just rock up to the flicks and kick back and enjoy.
You can kiss MY Multi-Verse, Disney.

I started to zone out early around Iron Man 2 or 3, though I enjoyed a few films afterwards. Every film on felt like a set up for the next film making what I just watched inconsequential. Got tired of the cross-overs, set ups and cameos.

Gotta eat my words at dissing Elfman for this project, kinda enjoying this score. Sort of in the same realm as Alice in Wonderland which I love. It's nothing new or special but a nice listen for the most part.

Amending my previous post. This score has really grown on me a lot. I absolutely love it!

There's so much good stuff here. The storytelling is excellent.

I love how in 'An Interesting Question' Strange's theme moves from bells to electric guitar (which we've come to associate with corruption from the Darkhold) before Strange's third eye is actually revealed. The whole score is full of cool moments like that.
