...For The CD.

I was in our HMV today and the old Varese score CD was on offer, but instead of the old 'chubby kid running to his death* cover, which was a bit rubbish, they had it with the swanky vinyl art, the one with the front fender V with the blood inside it.
It looked great.
So great, in fact, that I bought it cos I never got around to buying the original and this one looks ace.

*which is now under the CD tray.

Listening to this now and man, old JC was THE king of the horror synth scores back in the day, wasn't he.
Fantastic stuff.

Yah we/Varese when I was there, swapped out the old cover for newer one that we had commissioned a few years ago for the LP, I think it looks SO much better. So all future pressings will have this new art and not the guy running in front of Christine. smile

Well good on yer, cos it's a winner with me all the way.
I really had forgotten what a classic score it was, too.

Well lars, as I never owned the original pressing, I can't compare it.
BUT...the copy I listened to last night sounded Mighty Fine to these ears smile
