Audio aside, Peyton Place’s appearance on the Bogart album makes no sense at all since Bogart wasn’t in Peyton Place (he died the year it came out). In all honesty, Peyton Place should have been included on their reissue of the Waxman album.

If you mean the Dutton previous 5 SACD issues -then the answer is a definite Yes! I recently bought the Sony Boxed set which came at a budget price. But hearing these SACD in 5.1 format is something else.

But Peyton Place isn’t on the Sony CDs. So the sound hasn’t been remastered since the original CD release?
SAE is now showing this set as ready to ship, but shipping cost is over $14.00. SAE recently announced they will no longer ship via USPS Media Mail, which increases shipping costs significantly. I went ahead and ordered it on Grooves.land for $28.88 plus $1.06 for shipping. I expect delivery will take a bit longer, but Europe to US shipping times seem to rarely be more than two weeks these days.
Delivery did take about a month, but the Box eventually arrived in pristine condition, and is a must have.
I hope Basil Wrathbone gets to read this Topic, which I've pasted from the Gerhardt Star Wars thread, as I'm really interested to get his list of the various mastering errors on the orange reissues.

The 2011 remastered set (orange covers) are problematic. They exhibit plenty of faults throughout. Many here might already be familiar with the terrible "wow" distortion at the very start of the Treasure of the Sierra Madre suite, and also at the very start of the Captain Blood piece (track 7) of the Sea Hawk album. But there are also plenty (at least a dozen) anomalies throughout the set that are NOT apparent on previous releases. For one example, listen at around 5'54" of the Prince Valiant suite (on the "orange" Sunset Boulevard album). There is an ugly dropout in the right channel, not only audible but also clearly seen on the waveform. The RCA surround version has no such problem. Nor does the release of the same Prince Valiant track that was included in the Post Office's promotional CD "Celebrating the Classics" a few years ago. There is also no such problem with the old expanded CD version of the Sunset Boulevard album. The same problems also appear on the most recent boxed set, while NONE of them appear on the older surround versions. I'd be interested to know if the Vocalion releases have remedied this.

Like you I'm only too painfully aware of the deeply unfortunate Captain Blood and Sierra Madre "wow" problems on the orange reissues, but I'd love to know all the other errors you've spotted on them whenever you have time to respond.
