Discarded Face Masks on the street. Have they replaced condoms at the top of the 'Any Need?' Table?

Bitching about movie prices...now THAT'S MORE LIKE IT. Apathy is the death of civilization. So kvetching is how the Jewish faith has survived so long? I guess like chicken soup, it couldn't hurt. Side note - my dad always refers to chicken soup as Jewish penicillin.

Fewer posts here. It's just like when the weather changes. Eventually everyone gets tired of saying "Wow, it sure is cold!" "Isn't it, though?" Now it's normal. But is it permanent? I get the chills thinking about it.

My niece came on Wednesday for the first time since it began. She had to, it's her birthday today. We said no kissing and cuddling. She sat with a face mask on,until we said for it off.

AMC Theaters has decided to steal a march on Regal Theaters, which are opening on August 21, by opening a day earlier on August 20th. AMC plans to open 100 of its 600 locations, with 400 to be open by September 3rd. Prices for the first day of reopening, in honor of AMC's 100th anniversary, will be at 1920 levels--15 cents. Among the movies AMC plans to screen as part of its reopening include Disney’s The New Mutants starting August 28th and Christopher Nolan’s Tenet starting September 3rd. Other new films include Bloodshot and I Still Believe. As for library titles, they will be showing Back to the Future, Beauty and the Beast, Black Panther, Ghostbusters, Goonies, Grease, Jumanji: The Next Level, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back.

I have a great AMC movie theater that cater to, but I have no desire to go back into a movie theater at this time.

But no way I'm going with this pandemic hanging around.

"I don't understand why you didn't go. I mean, it's family. There's no coronavirus in OUR family." Oh, geez. And here I thought it was only Americans who were casual about all this. It's probably everywhere. The casual attitude is in India, too: https://www.kalw.org/post/sandip-roy-346-new-normal

For what its worth I just had my fourth Corona virus test and came back negative. The entire staff at my ALF remains negative. That doesn't mean things are better, we're just extremely fortunate. Hi solium! I'm glad you're ok again! I have to get to the dentist, but I just don't feel comfortable going right now, so I don't know what to do? The dentist and staff had lots of protective gear on, and were using equipment that wasn't spraying stuff around. So I felt safe. I hope you and Solly go soon. Dental pain is no fun, and gets in the way of the thing we all need: food!
