Mine finally got to me, after taking the long way to Ohio via Massachusetts. But it was worth the wait, really enjoying this one.

I usually like Conti, but I am struggling to get through it. I really liked Horner's GORKY PARK, which is - as noted elsewhere - remarkably similar, but this just isn't having the same appeal I'm afraid.

Simon..must agree with you. The more I listen to it, the more I THINK I'm listening to GORKY PARK. Mid 80s..spies...must sound like the most recent spy music I guess!!
Prior to hearing the cd, I played my lp and 2 things stood out..
1)The song selection is GREAT!!! Not always the case with compilations but a terrific selection here..and..
2)The album versions of those 2 tracks...so so different..sounds like a fun, upbeat action score...

The enlightenment continues as more music gets released..

A rare case of a release suffering of not having the songs !

I'm listening to the audio commentary on the new Blu-Ray now, and director Jeff Kanew says that the film was, indeed, temp tracked with Horner's Gorky Park, and Conti was asked to mimic it.
