They've been adding titles as the sale has gone on. You'll notice some of the prices reflect OOP status. Not a small number of titles, either. At one point this week the in stock catalog went from 16 pages to 18 pages.
... I just recorded a ‘podcast’ of sorts that discusses the 1969 film, The Italian Job, and its soundtrack on Quartet Records... If you find it all far too boring and snoozy, I won’t subject you to any more!

ooo's been a naughty boy, then, eh? I say … Chris Malone.
All the while as he was creating his singing podcast (which hadn't told us much of any behind-the-scenes info), Mr. Malone was restoring and mastering Lavagnino's Kali Yug with nary a canary cheep about such eminent in the pipeline.
It's a shame sales don't really work anymore, unless they're 90% off or something. The combination of insane shipping costs, and the Norwegian krone being at an alltime low (due, in part, to our current situation), there are no deals to be made at 30% off. That being said, were I still buying CDs, there are some great gems in Quartet's catalogue for those of you with sufficient funds.
Even though Thor won't read this I agree with him. I pretty much pass on sales nowadays. You generally save on shipping I suppose. But I can get three CD's @ Movie Music with one dollar shipping and it pretty much comes to the same price. (and he counts multi-disc sets and box sets as one CD!) So in the end it's not really a sale for me.
Shipping is insane nowadays unless you live in the same country where the company is.
I hardly can afford ordering from Intrada, La La Land or Screen Archives.
I know postal rates are high even within the states but I also think sellers are ripping customers off with their shipping fees. Even when I look at a listing on Ebay the shipping rates are $10- $15 dollars on average.

Cheeky fellow, ay wot?
Just for fun, here's another one of these. Recorded a while back, more technical and perhaps more to your liking:
The way I understood it, the one in March that ran thru April was the summer sale- pushed up because of the sudden hit of the pandemic, and possibly the expectation that people may not have been spending money as freely this summer.
IIRC, they even extended the sale a few more weeks while it was running.
Funny to see those last few comments about shipping from months back. Quartet is the one company that has generously subsidized larger orders- especially what would otherwise be very expensive international ones.
There's a whole lot of wonderful music in my collection I'm sure I wouldn't have if not for that. Someone picked up the (very hefty, I'm sure) shipping tab and it wasn't me.
