I don't know what it is about this guy's music, but whenever I see a film he scored, the music always really stands out to me. I have his Jeepers Creepers 3 CD and it's a blast. A full on brooding orchestral (NOT ORCHESTRAL!!) horror/thriller score. And his score to You Might Be The Killer (download release) is cool too. He's one of the new set who's samples tend to brilliantly emulate orchestra. It's hard to believe Jeepers 3 isn't an acoustic based score. I don't know if he uses exceptional quality samples or it's the way there's a space and reverb added to them, but it really shines through. This is a gentle Americana score, so there's the requisite piano, winds and guitar over strings, but it's really pretty and always melodic . He's been busy doing a lot of TV/DVD movies these past few years and I hope he gets a chance to break out. Although his music is probably too mired in the past sounds I love (there's more than a hint of Holdridge in Gift Horse) to be noticed by tin eared producers of Hollywood.
