Another one of those North/Horner reuse but change slightly instances.
I didn't mind when these two wonderful Maestros did it, at all. It was from "their" Coloring Book and their pallet. It usually worked well from film to film and it worked for me.
Would be great to have a release of these Alex North scores on CD along with another of his stoic "Religious" Themed and unreleased scores, THE PASSOVER PLOT.
THE PENITENT is a late musical masterpiece by Alex North and for me one of the best scores of the 80s. Almost 20 years ago there was at least a boot CD of the score (not even listed on the Soundtrack Collector website) with rather poor sound quality, but so many years have now gone by since that time and unfortunately there is still no official CD release of this wonderful music.
Is there still any hope that it may be released by any of our specialty CD labels?
