Not to everyone's taste but if you fancy trying: the Berliner Philharmoniker operates a Digital Concert Hall service which for the remainder of March is free to use for 30 days - see: https://www.berliner-philharmoniker.de/en/titelgeschichten/20192020/digital-concert-hall/ Now I know I should post this on the other side but given the first piece I chose to watch was Film music ... A piece I like a lot: Franz Waxman's The Ride to Dubno - renamed as The Ride of the Cossacks - played at the 2019 New Year's Eve Concert, conducted by Kirill Petrenko, was superb ... perhaps the best version I've ever heard. I then moved onto Richard Strauss' Don Quixote, TrV184, Karajan conducting with Rostropovich as solo cellist ... again a wonderful performance. I have a number of the orchestra's concerts on Blu-Ray or DVD and can recommend them highly ... I shall use this free month to identify others I may buy ... or I may continue by subscribing. As I don't have my PC wired to my Hi-Fi there is the matter of sorting out connections (a new interactive TV monitor, perhaps ?) For those who prefer to stay with film music, do consider: Riccardo Chailly's 2011 summer concert at the Berlin Waldbühne: Nino Rota's La Strada suite was fabulous! Also, Simon Rattle (summer 2015) at the same location, a concert entitled Lights, Camera, Action! has several great performances ... a suite of Scott Bradley's Tom and Jerry being particularly memorable. Enjoy Mitch
