Due to the COVID-19 fallout, SiriusXM is making all of its content available for free until May 15, 2020. This includes Cinemagic, their film music channel, which is now happily playing "The Meadow-Bambi Sees Faline" from BAMBI, maybe the best and most underrated score from the Disney golden age.
It's a lovely way to pass the time/workday/quarantine/crazy period.
God bless you, sir! Yer a scholar and a gentleman!
Please, please, it's just plain Yogurt.
This has a better selection than I was expecting for a mainstream channel. Currently up, "The Barn (Love Theme)" from EL CID, from Silva's THE EPIC FILM MUSIC OF MIKLOS ROSZA.
The classical channel (Symphony Hall) has a weekly soundtrack show called Classics on Film. There are usually one or two recent broadcasts available on demand.
Just a reminder that Cinemagic is only available on the app. It's not on any of the radio listings anymore (and hasn't been for years).
You can listen directly on the website, too. Maybe that's the same as the "app" (note: I am a Luddite), but just to clarify that you shouldn't need to download an extra app or program to listen on the web.
