I like what I've heard from Mark of the Cop and Luana, but what are his best and most representative cues/scores, especially from the 1970s?
Thanks!

My #1 favourite Cipriani cue:

From the Jaws ripoff "Tentacles" with Shelly Winters and John Houston playing siblings who share a house and walk around in their pajamas drinking all day.

This movie is a must-see.

Squids were definitely harmed in the making of this picture.

The whole album is fantastic.

My favourite by him is Tentacles. In fact it probably my desert island score.... It just lifts my mood every time I hear it. It is very hard to find on CD now though.

But also recommended are CSC's fabulous releases for Concorde Affair and Cave of the Sharks... Both are brilliant

Yes, "Concorde Affaire '79" most definitely!

Cipriani's western score for 'BLINDMAN' is well worth seeking out....if you can find a copy ?

I was going to mention that set. I have them already but there's no a lot more on the new release.

Here you are onya, it is the oft-recommended polizia films, they are really great. You wont be disappointed. Like damian i have them separately but over 2CD this is probly a good shout and much cheaper. And bonus stuff

This may seem a bit corny, but Stelvio Cipriani and his orchestra did a "Pop" album in 1989 titled MARE VIVO ("Living Sea") with several of his soundtrack selections, including some other compositions not his own:

https://www.discogs.com/Stelvio-Cipriani-E-La-Sua-Orchestra-Mare-Vivo/master/457804

Mare Vivo 2:52
Il Colle Del Paradiso 3:38
Promenade 3:49
Meridiana (Dal Serial Televisivo "Sapore Di Gloria") 3:01
Tramonti Azzurri 3:04
L'Amore E L'Estasi (Dal Film TV "Carla") 3:01
Anonimo Veneziano 5:31
Blu Elettrico 2:30
Gabbiani Al Tramonto 2:56
La Barcarola 3:17
Sonata Al Chiaro Di Luna (Dall'Opera 27 N. 2 Di L.V.Beethoven) 3:33

I play this album quite a lot in my office waiting room. It's nicely pleasant and upbeat - a guilty pleasure. I couldn't play most of the others above (where monsters and bikini models are being sliced to bits) in the waiting room for OB/GYN patients. smile
