That's great news about ONE POTATO, TWO POTATO. I remember reading about the film on its first release when I was young, and finally got to see it a few years ago at the TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood -- almost. I say "almost" because some a**hole put in a false fire alarm, and the theater had to be evacuated during the movie's last reel. I had to wait for TCM's broadcast of it later that year to see the ending. In any case, Fried's score like so many of his scores was wonderful, and I'm delighted that it's finally available on disc.

Those two potatoes never got fire-roasted - they remained undone.
We are all glad, though, that PNJ got out of that theater by the skin of his teeth.
PNJ kept his eyes peeled for second helpings elsewhere.
