See if you can get me out of this one:

I'm building an Excel database, of the songs I have on cd or mp3. I have files that have song names with proper spacing:

Once in a While

But I also have ones with no spacing at all.

Pleasereleaseme

My guess is that, to alphabetize them, I will have to
do a "search and replace" for spaces, so that all of them will have no spacing. Then they will alphabetize using the "sort" function:

OnceinaWhile
Pleasereleaseme

But is there a way for me to get them all BACK to proper spacing, after that?

I'm guessing that, besides spacing them manually, there is not.

(Edit. Didn't read your post properly. And it's 3:36 am.)

I think you'll have to manually add spaces to the titles that need them.

Excel's sort can handle spaces. No need to remove spaces for sorting.

I found a bottle of white wine that says it is "sweet."

Is this a wine I can add to spaghetti sauce? I don't drink alcohol, so I'd like to use it for something useful.

Taste it- if you like it then add it.

But it's probably more of a dessert wine.
Better to use it for this:

"Aaah. That was a lovely meal. What should I have now to make it complete?

Oh, I know! A serving of something that smells like it could peel paint off a hood ornament...."

"Knucklehead, you're exasperating, frustrating and incorrigible!"

"Gee, I wish you'd tell that to my mother, she thinks I'm a jerk!"

I went in and HAND-CORRECTED enough of them that they are now almost perfectly alphabetized.

And now I'm the coolest person on my block. big grin

Well, that was worth spending every waking moment of the last ten months on. Must seem very empty now, life.

What, in the name of Kendall, does a body do with a flashlight that puts out UV light?

I found one, and it works. It's solid and looks like I'd have to run over it with a car to destroy it.

But it puts out puny visible light. What's it good for?

Checking out the cleanliness of hotel rooms. The lights cause materials such as bacteria, urine, seminal fluids and blood, to "fluoresce," so that the naked eye can detect them.

I guess I should have posted "What's good is it to me?"

Does anyone know about heating elements of appliances? I have one in a dehydrator that won't heat up.

I can post pictures of it, if it helps.
