JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION---Dr. Lewis Dodgson, the Biosyn villain in the original JURASSIC PARK, is returning for DOMINION and will be played by Campbell Scott, son of George C. Scott. In DOMINION, Dodgson is now head of Biosyn. Dodgson was originally played by Cameron Thor who was sentenced to prison in 2016 for sexually assaulting a 13 year-old girl.

SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD---Edgar Wright said an animated tv series based on the movie is a possibility, “There’s some plans — and there’s nothing official yet — but there are some plans to revisit the material in an animation way."

Dodgson had a mild role in the original novel in that he instigated Nedry's betrayal oh Hammond.
However, in The Lost World novel, Dodgson was very much so the villian. It's been years since I suffered through that awful book but if I remember correctly he even commits murder in the novel but I can't remember the details. He is finally cornered by the mama Rex and fed alive to the baby Rex. Probably the only good scene in the whole book.
I was honestly kind of disappointed that Spielberg rejected the Dodgson/Biosyn plotline in favor of making Ingen the bad guys in the Lost World. Roland was a decent character but Ludlow was a disappointing and poorly written replacement.

Thanos had less screen time than that in The Avengers and he had no dialogue or a name drop. He also didn't show up again until four movies later, compared to Dodgson's five so not that far fetched. Plus, I'm a fan of all things involving continuity. It certainly beats abandoning plot threads.

Well, Thanos is a pretty big villain. They seemed to drop the direction they were going in and delayed bringing him into the MCU. In fact its not even the same Thanos!
