Had no idea these movies were called the EASTRAIL 177 TRILOGY, but Waxwork Records is releasing complete versions of UNBREAKABLE, SPLIT, and GLASS today on vinyl.
I imagine UNBREAKABLE will move the most needles around here, although I have no idea what goodies were missing from the album.
With this and the recent expanded M:I 2 vinyl release, I guess this is the way things are moving? Pretty soon Mondo will be releasing complete scores spread over a half dozen eight-track tapes. With killer artwork of course.
You misinterpreted their press release. These aren't expanded, these are the OST albums.
From the press release:
"Waxwork Records is proud to release the Eastrail 177 Trilogy as a deluxe 6xLP box set featuring the complete scores to Unbreakable, Split, and Glass."
From the individual release product page:
Unbreakable Original Motion Picture Score Features:
I mean the entire Unbreakable OST is only 45 minutes so I dunno why they are stretching it out to four sides.
1. Visions (05:57) 2. Reflection Of Elijah (04:08) 3. Weightlifting (03:43) 4. Hieroglyphics (02:01) 5. Falling Down (02:27) 6. Unbreakable (03:23) 7. Goodnight (02:25) 8. The Wreck (03:46) 9. Second Date (01:31) 10. School Nurse (01:22) 11. Blindsided (01:55) 12. The Orange Man (02:29) 13. Carrying Audrey (02:36) 14. Mr. Glass / End Title (07:40)
Looks like each vinyl side will be around 10-12 minutes long
They clearly just mean they are including the entire OST album and not dropping any tracks, but you think someone would have told them what "complete score" means to a large part of their potential audience by now

Not sure I buy that this was just a mistake. They've released full scores in the past (TMNT) and they've been at this for a while now; they have people who know what the difference is.
ETA: I suppose the marketing people are a separate team who don't necessarily work on the releases, but still. I find it hard to believe that someone in the approval chain for the press release didn't know the difference.
