Just flagging up that the soundtrack to 1982 horror slasher, 'The Forest' is available now on Spotify and Bandcamp. This Dick Hieronymous score is a really pleasing album, with a mixture of incidental music and some cool retro songs.
Awesome! I will have to check out the film. I’ve been watching a lot of early 80’s horror and have been interested in collecting their score albums or themes at least. Just recently viewed The Prowler (1981) and picked out where all the bits of the score album (Waxworks) were used.

Yes! The Prowler has some beautiful music in it. I've been really enjoying the Waxwork score.

And to the Mutant, I am totally with U there. My vinyl to digital transfers of Don't Go in the House and The Prowler sound fine but certainly are not as clean as CD versions would be. S glad that Prom Night was a CD!
