Ha! Yep zardoz there are some sad people on this forum. P.s in the uk, sad means sad, but it also means pathetic and embarrassing. Its a street thing now, like wicked means good).
A fabulous "find" of a "young" Ennio....thanks for posting !
Simply amazing! I remember another French interview with Leone, Mireille Mathieu and a silent Morricone but never this one with filmmaker Giuliano Montaldo. Morricone chewing and silently wandering around his gorgeous studio is (not intentionally) funny
Ooh dear, possibly the worst rendition of Ecstasy of gold since me and my brother played it on tupperware lids and saucepans with the girl next door singing Edda's bits
Once Upon a Time I was not enamoured of covers and, especially, "song" versions of the Maestro's music but I'm cured of that now. I liked that cover but I like this one even better. Yet another generation of fans
Does anyone have an opinion on Il Volo? They have a new CD of Ennio songs, I remember them from the Eurovision Song Contest a few years ago. Is the album worth a purchase?

Bearing in mind that the clip above is the only thing I’ve see of them, I’d say they have pretty good voices. Didn’t much like that adaptation of EoG, but I’m not sure it was their fault.
