No idea but in case where I find this information, I'll tell you. Marco also says that Andrea was Ennios's favourite child also because he could play chess with him. Toward the end, there is a moving chapter about the self necrology the Maestro wrote the day before he passed away, a document which was made public as you probably remember. Marco makes an interesting analogy by saying that's it's as though he would have intended to write the score of his life featuring the introduction, the development and the epilogue ! It seems his passing was a relief because the composer was tired to suffer.

Yes, as is often the case with 90 plus year olds, such injuries like he suffered deteriorate them and recovery is a big ask at that age.

I wonder what an Ennio Morricone JAMES BOND score might have sounded like?
I'm sure there are some efforts, from his Italian Cop/Thriller-style resume, that would have elevated the JB films to a much higher level.

Once thing's for sure: LPs are way more photogenic than CDs. Great looking album.
