There has been a bunch of stuff I've bought because the comments here were sooo enthusiastic but the music ultimately did little for me (looking at you, 90's action pictures).
I've even sold 3 or 4 of those albums on to buy something I preferred more.
As for 'Predator'- I hadn't (and still haven't) seen the movies, but the scores felt important in their way. I thought Predator was OK, but I understood and liked it more after I heard 'Predator 2'.
'Predator 2' still gets more play because of all that awesome percussion in the opening tracks (and I swear those tracks were cribbed for a Production show I ran back when I worked on cruise ships).
