There is on Youtube someone from Australia who posts videos called "10 Things You Didn`t Know About...". And each and every video is about one certain film. Anyway apparently is this Mark Bishop/Minty Comedic Art who makes these films really into film scores in general and Jerry Goldsmith in particular. I`ve seen lots of his videos and whenever he get the chance he mention the score and even praises the composer. Since he is into film music maybe he knows about this site/discussion board, who knows? So if you are then I have to admit I really like your videos and especially your love for film music whenever you mention it. Any Youtuber who praises Jerry Goldsmith (and Joel Goldsmith too) is in my book worthy of my respect, that`s for sure.
You should also check out Oliver Harper's Youtube film reviews/retrospectives.
He always does a full segment on the score for each film and even mentions soundtrack availability. Sometimes his soundtrack info isn't up-to-date but I'm always happy to correct him in the comments section.
Agreed on viewing both of these. Oliver Harper's retrospectives go into more detail it seems, with his vid being a little longer. His retrospective of "Lifeforce" was good if not overlong. He enjoys the film more than most but it makes for an interesting viewing. But I like both of them.
