Yeah, I thought LLL was done with new DCAU stuff? I'm sure this will be a pleasant surprise for many fans!

I'm finding Casper very enticing at the moment...

CASPER is one of my all-time favorite Horner scores! I wouldn't hesitate, Yavar! smile

Fans of the first YOUNG JUSTICE album (and of Dynamic Music Partners generally) should be thrilled with OUTSIDERS!

Was there really much left off the original CASPER?

Was there really much left off the original CASPER?

For starters, I can think of a number of unreleased cues that incorporated the classic Livingston/David CASPER theme.

I would say 1 disc since Casper is 2 discs and says (2-CD set) on it.

Much as I liked the soundtrack, I was miffed that these cues were missing. Can't wait for this new one.

Neither of those are DCAU, which is a specific universe canon that has Batman:TAS, Superman TAS, Justice League, etc

Does the Casper CDs contain the stuff with the original theme?

I can't speak for Yavar, but I was referring to the reappearance of DC titles from WB. In the context of finally getting that stuff out again, DCAU is "DCAU" is "that awesome 1990s Batman cartoon" for all I care.

Would have preferred Fievel Goes West or The Land Before Time for the Horner title, but Casper is a nice family effort.

Casper is an instant order! I was 8 when it came out and it was one of my favorite movies at that age. Casper, We’re Back!, Fievel Goes West, Jumanji, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, and The Land Before Time were my first exposures to Horner’s music and I always noticed it when watching the films.

Now if only LLL could locate missing box with very limited quantities of YOUNG JUSTICE (for those who missed it) - it would be even more cool! wink

That's debatable. A lot of the previous DC animated movie scores Batman: Gotham Knight Green Lantern: First Flight, Justice League Dark, Batman: Bad Blood, Batman: Assaualt On Arkham, Justice League: Gods And Monsters etc. from LLLR have "Music From The DC Universe Animated Movie". Unlike B:TAS, S:TAS, JL:TAS, and JLU those particular DC animated movies just aren't apart of the Timmverse.

Wow, thanks for making me I feel old.. I was 25 when it came out... (I went to see it at the now closed Staples Corner Cineworld).

Not debatelable at all. It's like if you called the X-Men movies part of the "Marvel Cinematic Universe" because they are Marvel movies.
"DC animated movie" isn't "DC animated universe".

There IS a "DC animated movie universe" which is its own continuity and then most of the other movies are standalone.

Young Justice I assume is the same universe as the TV show, and the Teen Titans film is of course those two series.

Point is MV mentioned on these boards 3 or 4 years ago that (aside from B:TAS) they won't be releasing anymore dc animated scores because of poor sales. It seems now that might've changed.
