Unlike many of the 80 films once listed as Hidden Gems, which have since become better known, #9 (as we count down to #1) remains relatively obscure. If you've seen this one please share your thoughts. If not, please let us know if this sounds like a film you'd like to see:
Not seen it, but a Brazilian friend tells me it is very good. It is actually on YouTube in Portuguese, but I will have a go at watching it tonight, maybe using auto subs through the pc.
As for your obscure gems recommendations I would like to put forward a film by the Turkish-German director Faith Akin called 'In July' (2000) - its a wonderful, uplifting, funny road movie.
