For actresses, it's worth noting the Monica Vitti/Michelangelo Antonioni collaboration (ol' Michi is one of my alltime favourite directors), many of which were scored by Giovanni Fusco. L'AVENTURA, L'ECLISSE, DESERTO ROSSO. OK, so just three films with Vitti, but still three classic movies.
