I'm not at home and can't check it right now but had the feeling that the magical "Tu souriras peut-être" from COLETTE wasn't available in the very same version in HAREM but I may be wrong of course. I put this track in my top 5 from Sarde. The intense Jimmy Sommerville song is also a real treat and I will pick it to represent HAREM.

The first track "Tu souriras peut-être" from COLETTE is exactly the same as track 7 "Car Promenade" on the HAREM CD. I would say that overall the sound quality on the Quartet CD is a bit better, but as to the music itself and the recording there is no difference at all.
You just get about 10 minutes more of the score on the HAREM CD.

There are a couple of scores I don't have yet at my disposal. Would you say that RODIN recycled old material as well?

RODIN is based mainly on ALICE ET MARTIN (the main theme in track 1 coupled with the rhythmic impulse from LE TRAIN) and ENNEMIS INTIMES (above all in tracks 3,4,6,7 with partly different orchestrations). As far as I remember, at one point Sarde also quotes a suspense track from MAX ET LES FERRAILLEURS.

Thanks again for your very precise answers. My memory was obviously wrong about COLETTE / HAREM.

Regarding ENNEMIS INTIMES, it's also definitely a favourite Sarde theme for me. A very powerful one.
