The 1995 CD is long OOP and has become a collectors item.
I was able to secure a copy on Ebay earlier this year for around $20, which is kind of a lot for a half hour of music but I do listen to this CD quite a bit so I'd say it was worth it.
I had a chance to rewatch this movie a couple of weeks ago, and it's a decent film that still holds up rather well. It's an old-fashioned adventure movie, and Arnold's score is definitely the highlight for me and is very prominent in the mix. I listen to the Atlantic album quite a lot and would love to see an expansion. There are some good cues in the film that never made it on the album. Has LLL looked into this at all? Is it true that the master tapes are missing?
Never seen the film but the score is a beauty. Arnold's best without a doubt. Written a year after "Stargate" and a year before "Independence Day" - talking about a hot streak!...
