STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS---the DISCOVERY spinoff series will focus on Captain Christopher Pike and Number One. Rebecca Romijn said STRANGE NEW WORLDS will reveal more about Number One, "Well, like 'The Cage' being such an old pilot, the writers have this very unique opportunity where they've had this character that's existed since the beginning of the canon, and she's never been written. I can't wait to find out how vast her skill set is. What are the arrows in her quiver? My number one question is, 'What's her backstory?' And I had a delightful meeting with the writers' room a couple of months ago, and they floated an idea for Number One's backstory that I'm not going to share right now because it blew my mind when they said it. But that's all I can say."
SHAZAM: FURY OF THE GODS--director David F. Sandbeg said the sequel will feature the Shazam family, "Now they're all superheroes, they're all a family with superpowers. And now we finally get to see that. We only got a glimpse of that in the first movie, so that's something to look forward to."
THOR---Chris Hemsworth denied rumors he wants to quit the role, “Are you crazy?! I’m not going into any retirement period (laughs). Thor is way too young for that. I’m only 1500 years old! It [Love and Thunder] is definitely not a film that I say goodbye to this brand. At least I hope so."

NETFLIX---co-ceo Reed Hastings commented on when he tried to sell Netflix to Blockbuster for $50 million in 2000, “Well, now I say thank God that they didn't want to go ahead [with the deal]. But you know, at the time, they were so formidable and even later, when we went public, we were $50 million in revenue, and they were $5 billion, so a hundred times larger than us.”

Nope, this is one Trek series I'm looking forward to. The great thing about Star trek (or any movie or TV show) and I can choose not to watch 'em. I have zero interest in the animated Lower Dicks series, but hey bring it on for those who want to see it.

OMG!!!! OMG!!!! OMG!!!! I can't wait to learn the back story for a female character from a failed pilot 54 years ago!!!! Here I'll tell you the awesome, amazing, blow your F'ing mind backstory for Number One. She's gonna be the BESTEST EVER! Queen of the Mary Sue's. Geez, these people see a humanoid with a vagina and get a virtual hard on.
