I suppose it will be all CGI, but I prefer the old She-Hulk with an Amazonian figure, not as a professional bodybuilder in that newer comic book image.

I'm open to a new interpretation, but I was also expecting something more like the classic character - and in this age, we have an abundance of strong, tall women who'd have nailed that look / role

I've seen two remakes of Death on the Nile, will the murderers escape Poirot's legendary insight in this one ?

Looking at the blurb at the top, the title should be "Ka-ching on the Nile." Any "Death" or "Murder" is about the money they're raking in, like the Wall Street phrase "make a killing in the market."

Gal fit's into that shirt quite nicely.

That's She Hulk nowadays? Looks more like a green skinned supermodel!

Pffft. She's no She-hulk.

This is a fan-generated art of Maslany as She-Hulk.

{That's She Hulk nowadays? Looks more like a green skinned supermodel!}

Actually, the pics shown by Dragon53 and Last Child are "classic" She-Hulk. Apparently, there is a current storyline in the comics where she is drawn like a 'roided out freak. Very "man-ish" in appearance. I don't even want to post a link to what "it" looks like.

Instead, this is classic She-Hulk:

Hmm. That says 1982. The first pic I posted is from the 1980 debut cover:

Decades ago, I had a raven-haired, olive-skinned girlfriend (some middle-eastern genes somewhere) around my size so I occasionally called her the She-Hulk. She didn't take it as a compliment, but it really was. Why don't they get it?

That doesn't look like "classic" She Hulk to me. Not to mention the artist clearly used a female body builder pic as inspiration.

This looks like classic She Hulk to me.

Then again what do we mean by "classic"? I don't consider the 80's classic in terms of comic book characters. Classic to me are the 60's and 70's incarnations of these characters.

There was no '60s-'70s She-Hulk, she debuted in 1980 as described in wiki link I posted. I was thinking "Classic" should mean original debut version.

Just looked at the wiki link you provided. Wow, had no idea she debuted in the 80's. I still think She Hulk should look like a "hulking" monster and not a supermodel though.

Well, this is a comic book character, and comic book artists, particularly in the '80s and '90s drew pretty much all of the female characters to look like supermodels wearing little clothing. It should be noted that the image used in dragon's post is from a comic book cover, which tends to sensationalize things to help sell the book. IIRC, She-Hulk looks very different in the story inside.

As with many characters, her look has evolved over the years, and looks far more hulking now than she used to. My guess is her look will probably be closer to this:

Sorry, I should clarify, but that issue of Marvel Graphic Novel #18 to which I linked, is Cover Date: 1985; On Sale Date: August 13, 1985. The MGN series itself, though, did debut in 1982. I was simply posting the cover of the comic to which you had posted a pic of an interior page (i.e. the one showing SH disrobing).

Pendantic me: Savage She-Hulk #1 is Cover Date: February 1980; On Sale Date: November 13, 1979

Either way, it's not like art styles change on New Years Eve. Something drawn in 1980 probably won't be representative of "the 1980s."
