I’m only seeing a server error thing for the first two suggestions, Sepp. Edit: Never mind, I can see them now. As far as your suggestions, I’m not too familiar with the last two choices (though I’ve heard Green Dolphin Street is supposed to be good), but I wasn’t too thrilled by the music for Lady From Shanghai, and apparently neither was Orson Welles.

They have their similarities styllistically. Sometimes I wonder if it wouldn't be better a re-recording of suite films by genre, specially with lost scores. 20 min. x 4 films....80 or 15 x 5...75. 2 CDs better than one.... 10 suites, 10 scores are represented from various composers and same film studio A lot of these older movies have a good amount of not so much-needed source music. I know, I know...... $$$$$$$ are needed.

Oh wow! I had no idea. That's an amazing collection you've got there! Guess I need to start tracking those CDs down so I can have some wonderful Bionic Woman music! lol The one at top left, The Film Music of Joe Harnell, is a two disc set and the best place to start. It has 38 minutes of music from The Bionic Woman, and frankly it's the very cream of the show. It includes a 6:41 track of Jaime's Theme that was heard in portions throughout the series, and if there's one cue you can't do without, that's it.

This has been released once so we know it exists. THE HANNA-BARBERRA PIC-A-NIK BASKET had a score CD among its 4 CDs packaged as a picnic basket. Besides JOHNNY QUEST which Lala Land released, there were lengthy score suites of Hoyt Curtin's FLINTSTONES, JETSONS, and TOP CAT. Those should be given the QUEST treatment. (ie. individual cues. not the long suites.)

I forgot to list it, but another one of my holy grails is William Alwyn's Swiss Family Robinson score. Ooh, same here. And while we're at Disney's first decade of live action, lemme add Darby O'Gill and the Little People by Oliver Wallace and both Treasure Island and Robin Hood by Clifton Parker. Yavar
