I found this lp for $2 in an antique mall maybe five years ago and was immediately hooked. I would buy a cd of this. It's sad how this album has slipped through the cracks, perhaps too composed for the jazzbos, and though very cinematic and sultry, it is not a soundtrack and John Neel is too little known for soundtrack buffs, though Ford Thaxton has devoted a thread to him. What a shame, as I think anyone who likes scores like Farewell, My Lovely, Body Heat, and Chinatown would love this. Neel is sadly gone, but perhaps Plas Johnson might know something about the status of the tapes.

I'm fairly certain John Neel's son has tapes of it. it would be cool to see it released along with other tracks by John Neel Ford A. Thaxton
