No word that I can find on who's scoring but this trailer looks good. Especially good is the music. I'd love to know if this is from the score or else where it comes from. Anyone?

I am a little dismayed at the lack of Sho'Nuff in this footage but YMMV

Sorry that music was really annoying. I really enjoyed Moana though I admit it was very derivative. This doesn't give me good vibes. Another film made for China. The protagonist looks like she came from the Tinker Bell series and comes off as oriental Rey. The fast cutting/slow mo shots don't excite me either.

It that supposed to be a BAD thing?

The Tinker Bell series are good for what they are. I even enjoyed a couple of them. But in regards to this yes. Her proportions looks off. Her head is to big for the body. That works fine for little fairies but not a normal human being. The face even resembles the fairies and the facial expressions don't look very good like in a lower budget production. The dialog and voice acting sounds so very generic. Ironically there's a 90% chance the score won't be anywhere near as good as the Tinker Bell series scores.

I generally like the Disney cartoons.
I love the Joel McNeely Tinkerbell scores
I really like Benjamin Wallfisch film music.
But I didn't like that trailer or its music at all.
It looked a bit generic and boring and seemed to be trying too hard to be everything (Mulan, Tomb Raider, Star Wars vistas).
But it'll probably make a mint (especially in China).

Exactly, could be a great film but the trailer didn't excite me at all.

Wallfisch could be good though. Time will tell.

Indeed. FSM in a nutshell.

I'm a HUGE fan of MOANA, and although this doesn't appear to be on that level, it still looks reasonably good. Wallfisch is almost always a safe bet, so I'll have my hopes up for the moment.

So, we've in agreement but I'm negative.
