Back Atcha! When I used to make Halloween comps ages ago, I always felt compelled to include these tracks!

The Mafista:

Looks like these were taken from the "Hefti in Gotham City" lp, a great companion to Hefti's Batman album on RCA
which was issued on lp and later came out on cd. There is a crossover item which could tie into your post on the
Weirdos thread. Another great surf/hot rod 60's group was The Marketts. They did an album of Batman inspired songs.
Great instros on that one.

I have two LP conversions: Batman Theme and 11 Hefti Bat Songs, and Hefti in Gotham City. It was a little bit crushing that the tracks bear no relation to the show. But I grabbed some crucial sound clips from the episodes and that worked out pretty well.

I'd have to agree, these Hefti songs are Halloween appropriate— much more so than for the Batman series they're supposedly about.

The CD on youtube, Batman Theme and 19 Hefti Bat Songs, combines the two LP's I have, omitting only "The Lonely Greek" track from Hefti in Gotham City.

I have one of the two on LP. There was a CD on Razor & Tie, I believe, that combined tracks from both albums.

So does Batman & Robin by Elliot Goldenthal.
